Following the Zika virus transmission, some residents have expressed their concerns about the local situation within our Town. Our Town Council shares the same concern and is working closely with National Environment Agency (NEA) to obtain the latest information and to control the situation.
We are doing so by intensifying our vector control operations on the ground. Such operations include:
*Common areas include void decks, common corridors, scupper drains, gully traps, lift shafts, playgrounds, etc.
We would like to advise that residents can help to prevent breeding in homes by doing the 5-step Mozzie Wipeout and protect yourselves from mosquito bites by applying insect repellent regularly.
